HP32SII RPN Scientific

A widely reported problem with these calculators is button-failure; pressing the buttons gives no response. They are not designed for repair (see hp32sii_repair.php). Regrettably, they are no longer being made. Last year I had intermittent, but most inconvenient, problems with my own calculator (purchased in July 1999, I think). A month or two ago I tried putting it on a hot-water radiator for a couple of hours. It worked perfectly for a while, and I still use it when it's in a good mood. The app RpnCalc by Edward Falk, free from Google Play, gives a usable approximation but missing the programming facility.
